Day 3 03/10/11
OMG OMG OMG I have never felt my body hurt this much. I have place that hurt that I never knew existed. On top of that my calves are throbbing so hard that I can't walk until I have been standing for a minute. I walk so weird its hilarious. I got home from work and had to force myself to work out all I wanted to do was sit on the couch and veg. NO I said outloud (kinda weird I know) So I got up poped in cardio power and resistance. OK the warm up got my muscles going again didnt feel as bad anymore. Then onto the work out a little kicking, some jumping and a dash of weird push ups later its cool down time. I am dripping sweat all over the floor im hungry and it is time for a shower. Then I really need to swiffer my floor eeewwww sweaty floor. They should send clean up kits with the ordering of these videos. Lets see how things go tomorrow.
Day 2 03/09/11
Woke up this morning and my calves were so tight and in so much pain. I am walking like a 90 y/o suffering from parkinsons man I hurt and have to go to work. The whole day was so painful but I have to keep going i want to see the results. Todays work out is Plyometric cardio circuit. Basketball jumps and a whole bunch of other really crazy jump and drop and all that moving constantly stuff. Who ever thought this up was speaking directly to satan and its a common known fact satan hates fat people (its harder to get them into hell i supose) anyway had to take a few unexpected breaks. Drank a lot of water and this crazy work out is either going to give me a rockin body or will make me have an aneurysm. Man I don't think I have sweat this much since bootcamp. Lets hope that I start to get used to it.
Here we go! 03/08/11
Ok so I am a 21 y/o 5'7" and currently 168lbs so yes I'm a little chunky. I am in the US Navy which has moderate standards for there people weight and fitness wise. I have decided to do the full 60 days of Insanity the work out program. So this is the begining. I was laying in bed flipping through channels and I saw the infomertial and thought of my friend who has it called her up and got what I am sure will be my demise. When I got the home I poped the fit test in.
Fit test begins- warm up ok some jogging in place not bad im good
- Then jumping jacks ok I kinda hate jumping jacks but no biggie
- On to the heismen were you jump from leg to leg in the heismen trophy position still not a big deal
- Going into the 123 heismen um a little coordination goes a long way took me a sec to get in the groove then I got it step step step heismen ok got it (starting to sweat a little now)
- Now we are onto butt kickers done these my whole naval career got it
- We are at high knees now no problem a little winded but still good
- Oh joy now were at mummy kicks straight arms and legs staying on your toes kicking low while cris crossing arms alright full on sweating now
Going into a little stretch and on to the fit test
-switch kicks time foreward kicks straight out not the worst thing in the world but ow!- I got 51
-then onto power jacks DUDE squat into a jumping jack and back down to a squat NOT NICE- got 60
-power knees are up now Ive had worse-75 of those
-power jumps suck jumping up while bringing you knees to your chest F THAT-20
-next up globe jumps you touch the ground jump to the right touch jump backwards touch jump left touch jump foreward 1- got 7
-up next suicide jumps i hate them so much i wont even explain them- but i got 10
-push up jacks now not bad but i suck at push ups
-finally low plank obliques hold a plank while bringing your knee up to you chest by this time i am so tired and dripping with sweat- gots me 55 of those
I know it was just the fit test but holy crap I am tired and super sweaty its crazy. It is time for a shower some dinner and sleep. Lets see haw day 2 goes.
